From the moment I arrived at JCD the atmosphere was that of CARING and “how can we make your visit more pleasant as a patient”. Dr. Barker is such a PROFESSIONAL, but also friendly and knowledgeable of course. Dr. Barker explains information in understandable ENGLISH and NOT a lot of CONFUSING MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY. He also DEMOSTRATES PROCEDURES that he is going to PERFORM, he gives you OPTIONS for your particular situation. He’s a very good TEACHER without TEACHING, he realizes that everyone learning style is different, so he addresses the “VISUAL as well as the ORATORY LEARNER, along with othe “strategies” and “learning styles. He is very PATIENT and doesn’t object to REPEATING if you don’t UNDERSTAND. He doesn’t make you feel “I’m on a “schedule” and I can’t spend all this time with you.” Dr. Barker makes you feel you are his ONLY patient all day. I truly SALUTE and APPRECIATE Dr. Barker. The STAFF under the guidance of Dr. Barker is a reflection of him, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and CARING, they first and only priority is the PATIENT. They TEXT to wish you a “pleasant” weekend, they remind you of your next APPOINTMENT without being “threatening” in their tone of VOICE. They are always WARM in their GREETINGS as you ENTER and they keep that same demeanor as you DEPART. They don’t bring their “PROBLEMS” to work, his STAFF comes to WORK to WORK. I would RECOMMEND Dr. Barker to everyone that’s looking for a DENTIST that’s positively DIFFERENT. Betty Jackson
