I wanted to come back and update my experience because I truly believe in giving credit where it’s due. After my initial concerns, this office has made a complete turnaround and it absolutely did not go unnoticed. What stands out the most is that they actually listen. Not just to me, but to their patients as a whole. You can feel the effort, the changes, and the intention behind everything they’re doing now. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and honestly feels like family. The little touches like being offered tea or water go a long way and set the tone for a comfortable visit. A special shoutout to the manager, Ashlee, for personally reaching out to me about my concerns and taking the time to make things right. That level of accountability and care is rare, and it truly made a difference in my experience. Also, shoutout to Daniella Vazquez she is AMAZING when it comes to handling my financial account. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly the best at what she does. If you go, definitely ask for her! And I have to recognize the dental assistants as well because without them, none of this runs smoothly. They are the ones who really set the tone when you’re brought back. Even when those chairs are a little cold, they make sure you feel warm and comfortable offering blankets, pillows, and just overall care that makes a difference. That level of attention does not go unnoticed. The dentists and hygienists are ALL so awesome. Professional, kind, and genuinely caring. They don’t just treat you like a patient they treat you like a person. If you’re nervous or anxious, they will literally comfort you… yes, even hold your hand while explaining what’s going on and what needs to be corrected. They’re also extremely professional and prepared knowing they’re trained and ready for anything (even in those “I might faint” moments 😅) gives an extra layer of reassurance. The hygienists are just as incredible such a great group of young women who make the experience smooth and enjoyable. I love that they let you relax and watch TV during your visit (shoutout to my Young Sheldon episodes 😂). Overall, I truly appreciate the professionalism, warmth, accountability, and growth this office has shown. I recommend them not because they claim to be perfect, but because they are willing to improve, care, and show up better for their patients and that speaks volumes.

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful, honest, and heartfelt review. We truly appreciate both your loyalty over the years and the care you took in explaining your experience. First and foremost, we’re deeply grateful for your kind words about the dentist and the impact your recent visit had on you. Hearing that you felt seen, respected, and supported—and that your confidence is being restored—means more than we can express. That is exactly the heart of why we do what we do, and we’re thankful you shared how meaningful that moment was for you. At the same time, we want to sincerely apologize for the areas where we fell short. Your communication preference should have been respected, full stop. We understand how important that is, especially given the demanding and high-responsibility environment you work in. You took the time to clearly state your preference, and we regret that it wasn’t honored. We also hear you clearly regarding the shift in the overall atmosphere. Your reflection on the warmth, attentiveness, and personal touches that once defined Jacksonville Complete Dentistry is important—and it’s not taken lightly. You’re absolutely right: dentistry is personal. Patients bring far more than teeth into the chair, and compassion, presence, and humanity are not optional extras—they are foundational. Your feedback is being taken in the spirit it was given: not as criticism, but as a call to do better. Leadership will be reviewing this carefully, and your words will help guide meaningful conversations about patient experience, culture, and how we show up for the people who trust us with their care. We truly hope to continue caring for you and your family, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to grow. Thank you again for your honesty, your encouragement, and for reminding us of what matters most.
