For new patients, our standard process requires an initial exam before a cleaning can be performed, as this allows the provider to ensure appropriate and safe care. We regret that this requirement was not clearly communicated to you at the time of scheduling, and we understand how that could be disappointing when you were expecting a cleaning that day.
