This office has no empathy for peoples lives. I had been placed on a "same day" follow up status where I would have to call in to "see if there was an available appointment" every. single. day to see if there was a time slot to get seen! First off, I don't think thats professional at all especially being in a medical field. Are you kidding me?! I missed my one appointment because my father died and had to fly home for that and I missed my second appointment because I contracted Covid (probably from the flight) and was running a fever. I aplogize that calling in to my dental appointment was not top of my priorty list, I guess next time I'll just come in sick and get very else sick! I'll say this, I lived in San Diego and had the same dentist for over 10 years before moving to Jacksonville and on the rare occasion that "LIFE" actually did happen and I couldn't make it, they were more than understanding. Franky and Bonnie on the phone SEEMED to be understanding of my situation but must not have heard the words coming out of my mouth when I said It was beyond my control. Very dissapointing office and would not recommend this office to anyone who wants to feel like their dentist have their back or continue a long term relationship. Service wise: I felt like another customer anytime I DID go in there. It was like a numbers game to them, just another client which might be the reason why they could care less about losing my business. Oh well, Good riddance.

I’ve been going here for years. Jessica the hygienist was very meticulous and thorough. Firola is also a great Hygienist. Bonnie at the front desk is nice and Dr. Rose is good. Melanie is no longer there, but she was wonderful. She is very passionate about her job. I trust her and always go to her to get my teeth cleaned. The rest of the office staff are friendly.

Wayne Barker is NOT only a Good Man and a Good Friend, he is a super dentist who knows what he is Doing and VERY competent technically. He is a excellent Clinician and is a smart and intelligent decision maker. I actually enjoy going to see him and his excellent staff! I get teeth cleanings as often as my insurance allows and a couple MORE times a year since it's Well Worth the MONEY to have clean teeth and Fresh Breathe. I SEE a LOT of MEdical Professionals as part of my Job and I was incredibly impressed with their "STERILE PROTOCOL". Their instruments are properly cleaned, handled and Sterilized and I know good technique when I see it! I sell Neuro Surgical Brain Instruments for a livelihood... Good Sterile technique means- reduced chances of ANY infections.. These guys do it properly!! And they are GREAT to work with. I get a LOT of reminders about my upcoming appointments and I am actually thankful that the reminders come! Thank you Wayne, Bridget, Bonnie and the rest of your amazing Staff!

My entire family—husband, wife and 3 boys—have been going to JCD for over 8 years. Our 3 year old has been for cleanings twice. At our visit last week, I didn’t even sit in the room with him. Thanks to Bonnie for getting all 3 boys in and out for their cleanings in under an hour and then my hubby and I enjoyed our double date cleaning on the following day. This was my first initial visit. Bonnie who answered my call was the reason I chose to try Jax Complete Dentistry. She made me feel welcomed and relaxed over the phone and was very reassuring. I have seen Dr Barker and his team twice. The first time I was in a lot of pain and my dentist couldn't see me. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed each time. Dr Barker, Angie, and Bonnie are amazing people and will continue my dental care with them. Update: I went back in for another appointment and Brittany did such an amazing job with my temporary crown that I'm not sure I want a permanent even though I have to and she had me laughing the whole time.
