I would like to thank Dr. Asturia and his Dental assistant Clarissa for making my dental appointment one of the best I've had. I had been having excruciating tooth aches and was referred to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry for an exam. My original appointment was a week out. I called and explained the severity of my pain to the front desk. They were able to get me in the same day. That alone was my first good start with the Dentistry. Once I got to the office, my pain was unbearable. The front desk staff was very friendly and the office was very nicely kept. I was seen immediately. Dr. Asturia was the best! After a complete exam and viewing of my xray, he was able to find the Root cause of my pain. No pun intended. He and Clarissa worked together, and helped get my pain under control. I had strong positive energy from them. No one likes going to the dentist, but, if you must go, I strongly recommend going to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry.

I had an urgent dental issue when a surface filling on my canine tooth fell out and left a razor-sharp edge. I walked into this dentist’s office without an appointment and they saw me right away. They did an exam and x-ray to check things out and were even able to do an emergency filling on the spot. I was in and out in about an hour and a half, start to finish. The staff was friendly, efficient, and really understood the urgency of the problem. Best dental service I’ve ever had. Highly recommend to anyone!

This office was the BEST! I've had some horrible experiences with the dentist in the past have been hesitant to go back. Because the pain in my tooth was so bad, I decided to go and Dr. Montoya took such great care of me. He reassured me and communicated clearly everything he was planning on doing. The situation was worse than I thought, but I felt a lot of peace being in Dr. Montoya's hands. His assistants Alexis and Aniyah were also super sweet and gentle. I will be switching to this dentist for regular cleanings and all future procedures!

If it's an emergency and you need help at first visit, you WILL NOT get the tooth taken care of even though when I called and specifically asked while making the appointment, they assured me that it would be. Instead I was run through x-rays and a barrage of photographs of my teeth, then the doctor visited for 5 minutes then stated I had two options and those would be explained to "be on my way out." End of visit. Since extraction was one option and could have been done that day, and I had anticipated $400-500 (no insurance, on medicare) I simply wanted the price for both options and then something done about my tooth. I would NEVER go back, I left feeling like a foolish senior citizen who had been taken in by false advertising. Ridiculous place.

I scheduled an emergency visit due to severe pain in my wisdom tooth. They got me in that afternoon took x-rays, prescribed the antibiotics and scheduled a follow up within 30 minutes. The staff was very professional and courteous. I found myself a new dentist. Good stuff.

Reality

Had an older cap come off. Called the office and after I explained the problem was immediately asked if i was in any pain. I was worked in the following morning at 8:00 and Dr. Barker and staff had me out about 20 minutes later. Very happy I was recommended to JCD a number of years ago. They have my complete confidence.

Complete waste of time and money. Greedy and unhappy doctor. Didn't want to treat hurting patient unless we agree to treat all teeth only in his office. Very diasppointed.

Called to get an estimate for a crown. Woman on the phone did everything g she could to detour me from getting work done there even though it was an emergency situation. Refused to get a quote from my insurance without a letter from the orthodontist faxed old school to them of the urgency of getting a crown placed on my root canal tooth. Finding another place.

I was so impressed w/ the staff of JCD for fitting me in at the last minute last Friday (for an emergency I had w/ a chipped tooth) right before Thanksgiving! They are always so amazing & kind to me! Dr. Barker is a top notch dentist! I love the work he has done on my mouth. He did an awesome job on my chipped tooth; and I am no longer in pain. The staff here is AMAZING. I had a dental emergency/crisis on a weekend and they got me in first thing Monday morning. I was terrified since I had never had major dental work done before, but they did an outstanding job at calming my nerves and making sure I felt comfortable the entire time. Dr. Johnson really cares about her patients and works with them to make sure they feel confident with their smile. I was impressed with their payment options as well. They accept care credit which is 6 months no interest, so that’s cool. My situation is going to be a bit of a long process, but I look forward to working with them on along the way!

Mrs. Bonnie was extremely professional and pleasant from the moment I heard her voice on the phone! Of course my issue had to start on a Friday, and the first two places I called weren't accepting emergency patients. I explained my issue to Mrs. Bonnie and she told me "We will be glad to help you!" I have seen Dr Barker and his team twice. The first time I was in a lot of pain and my dentist couldn't see me. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed each time. Dr Barker, Angie, and Bonnie are amazing people and will continue my dental care with them. Update: I went back in for another appointment and Brittany did such an amazing job with my temporary crown that I'm not sure I want a permanent even though I have to and she had me laughing the whole time.

I came in with a broken bridge on a fri and was leaving out of town for ten days mon and would of literally not had a front tooth ! Was told by others it just could not be fixed before mon ! I was devastated ! Called Complete Dentistry they said when can u get here ?! I went straight there and was out in less than two hours with a temp bridge that's looks beautiful ! They saved my life ( and possibly my job) ! Thank u so very much to the whole staff at Complete Dentistry!
