UPDATE: A year later and I am happy to say I have my husband also going to Dr. Rose Johnson and the rest of the crew at JCD. We both had bad experiences at another practice in town and are now "regulars" with JCD--can't say enough good things about this practice!!! Outstanding customer service. Cassandra front desk was very helpful ensuring all my needs were met in one day. Rose was professional assisting the Dr. with ease and promptly replaced my locators. Lynsey the Hygienist was very effective and prompt. Ensuring I was comfortable and not having pain. Alexa delivered my denture which I had relined. Alexa was very positive and gave great hugs. Dr. Barker is truly an awesome dentist and has never failed to meet my needs. The entire atmosphere was pleasant.

I had my first visit at this office today and it was amazing! I usually hate x rays but Alexis probably did the best and most comfortable set of x-rays that I’ve ever had. She was super quick and efficient and really explained each step. I also had the pleasure of meeting dentist Rose and she was wonderful as well! She was very knowledgeable and gentle, and addressed all of my concerns. She took the time to explain everything and she even provided prevention methods to solve some of my concerns. This office feels like a family already and I am thankful to have them in jax!

I have been here for cleanings and other dental procedures and I can truly say that this is the best dental office ever. From the time you walk in the door until you leave the customer service by its staff is top notch. Dr. Rose Johnson is a great dentist. The x-ray technician/dental assistant Alexis ‘Super Great’ s customer service is great (give her a raise). When she does your X-rays you barely feel anything. If you are looking for a dental office in the Jacksonville area you won’t go wrong with Jacksonville Complete Dentistry.

Dr. Rose and all the hygienists are very nice, and the practice is clean (although overdecorated in a very dated style). Unfortunately, their billing and reception are not good. I went for a cleaning and exam today, and when I checked out I was told I had a $247 balance from my previous visit because they no longer accept my insurance. They didn't tell me this before my last appointment or at this appointment when I arrived, and they never sent me a bill. They previously sent me a bill for a visit several months ago and stated they were out of network, but when I inquired about it they just said they "fixed" it. Since then, my husband and I both have gone for cleanings and exams and asked if there were any billing or insurance issues and we were told no...until today. I even asked the receptionist if she knew I had an insurance they didn't accept when she checked me in, and she said yes, but they sent letters (which I never got) to patients and she assumed I knew. They're good but not enough for me to not use the insurance I have and pay out of pocket. BEWARE!!!!

I’ve been going here for years. Jessica the hygienist was very meticulous and thorough. Firola is also a great Hygienist. Bonnie at the front desk is nice and Dr. Rose is good. Melanie is no longer there, but she was wonderful. She is very passionate about her job. I trust her and always go to her to get my teeth cleaned. The rest of the office staff are friendly.

Absolute best dentist office I have ever been to! Usually visiting the dentist’s is a miserable and anxiety-ridden experience, as most can probably agree. But not here! Dr. Rose was amazing in the whole process of having my wisdom teeth removed (which was a long overdue procedure). But I faced no judgment, had all my questions and fears answered, and had the procedure done in the way that I wanted! And my hygienist Jessica (who I went to today for a routine cleaning) was amazing! All of the staff there are warm and welcoming. And Jessica went above and beyond with my comfort and care. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks!

When I called to make an appointment the woman who answered the phone made sure to answer all of my questions. They provided comfort and reassurance that the dentists and staff will take their time with me and make sure I remain comfortable. My appointment went so well! The young lady who took my photos and X-rays made sure I was comfortable, explained everything, and was an absolute joy to be around. Dr. Rose was excellent and provided in-depth explanations of her exam and went over everything I should expect and what my nexts steps are. Dr. Rose and her staff provided a 100% judgement-free experience and really earned my trust. I recommend this dentist office to anyone who’s wanting to take back control of their dental health and are looking for pleasant, judgement-free dental care.

This dental office truly cares about their patients and puts their patients first. You can feel it and see it yourself in the way they take the time to explain things to you as well as anything billing related. I really enjoyed having Kelly do my x rays and cleaning and Dr. Rose (I believe that was her name) took time with help me decide what I wanted to do about a certain filling I had. She made sure that I was informed to make a decision and did not skew me toward one or the other. The office was clean and comfortable.
