My experience at this office left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about billing transparency and communication. During my first of two cleaning appointments, I was told I owed $151 for cleaning on one side. After questioning the charge, the amount was reduced to $118 for both sides. This sudden change created confusion and made me question the accuracy of the billing. I was also told ahead of time that my cleaning would be split into two visits because numbing would be required. However, once seated for treatment, I was asked whether I wanted numbing, which contradicted what had previously been explained. Due to these inconsistencies and lack of clarity, I chose to cancel the appointment. I believe patients deserve clear communication, consistent treatment planning, and accurate billing from the start.

I loved this dentist office for years when I saw Dr. Barker. The hygienist Jessica is great - I have only good things to say about her. However, I saw new dentists my last few visits. At my last visit, I was told I needed 4 fillings at once after never needing any. I had 2 of them done, but then the office stopped accepting my insurance. I went to a new dentist in-network to get a new treatment plan for the other 2 teeth. The new dentist stated I didn’t need any fillings and the 2 that Jacksonville Complete Dentistry had done were so surface level it was more like a sealant and one was a sealant with stain remaining underneath. So caution - get a second opinion if you go here and suddenly need a lot of work.

Please check your insurance to make sure you are still in network. I’ve been a patient for years and used my benefits earlier this year with no issues. Showed up for my appointment recently and was told my insurance is now out of network and had to make a payment I wasn’t expecting.

Scam artists! Went in for my annual cleaning that should covered by insurance at 100%. They say now I owe them money and when I asked then about it, Daniella from “billing” said they over charge the insurance companies to see what they can get them to pay and then pick and choose what amount left over they decide to write off and what they want to bill the customer.

Hello, I really enjoy coming to this dental office and have always had a great experience. However, I recently changed my dental insurance plan, and unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that my new plan is not in-network with your office. I had made an appointment and even left work early to make it on time, only to find out upon arrival that I would be charged out of pocket for the cleaning. I wish I had known this in advance to avoid the inconvenience. Just wanted to share this feedback in hopes it might help improve communication around insurance coverage in the future. Thank you.

I came to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry to get a second opinion for a procedure my dentist had recommended. I was impressed with the level of service I received from everyone I encountered at the practice. I was very appreciative of the advice Dr. Barker extended. He even made some adjustments while I was there to avoid the need for further work on the tooth. Unfortunately, this practice is out of network for my insurance. However, if that ever changes I would not hesitate to make them my full time dentist!

Good service. Jessica and Chelsea are great! Apparently they are in negotiations with another dental insurance plan. Definitely call and see if they are in-network with your dental plan. If you are looking for a dental plan contact them to see which plan(s) they are in-network.

I was referred to JCD Group and I’m so glad I made the appointment! First off, their communication about my appointment confirmation and upcoming reminders was fantastic. They not only send texts but will call to remind you as well! I always have so much going on, I need the reminders 😅 Now the appointment: check in was quick. X-rays and hun measurements were efficient and professional. I loved my tech Jessica! I ended up needing quite the deep cleaning and Jessica made me feel comfortable and calm during the whole 2 hours! I almost fell asleep! The staff was fantastic with working with their schedule to get my next cleaning in ASAP and billing was clear and as stated. Great experience! A dentist I don’t dread going back to, but look forward to going back !

I love the spa at JCD. I have been getting facials with Annette for the past four years and couldn’t have picked a better place. Service has always been fantastic and very affordable. You could always spend a fortune to get this service done at any other fancy spas around town, but I will guarantee you that it won’t be as pleasant experience on top affordability. Highly recommended.

You Need to go here... Seriously! I have been to multiple dentists over the past three years just trying to find a good one. Any basic dentist can clean your teeth, up sell you or claim to fix your problem. This staff actually knows what they are talking about. Their Services are covered under most dental insurances and the did x-rays, a Cleaning, and Measured my Gum health to go over areas in risk of tooth loss and tartar. If you want to UNDERSTAND your teeth and how they are doing go here. I have never had such comprehensive examination and I feel so much more confident about how to take care of my teeth and prevent anything.

This is one of the best facials I’ve ever had. I have had many facials in my life at top spas like Bliss in NYC as well as at plastic surgeons offices. Annette knows what she is doing and I got so many compliments. My skin was even and my pores disappeared. I plan to try and go monthly. It was also extremely affordable and she spends a long time working on you. Highly recommend!
