I have an irrational fear of dentists and have avoided going to a dentist for years even though I know I needed it. I started researching sedation dentistry. This place has put me at ease every step of the way. They teach me about my teeth and do an amazing job the first time. Reasonably priced. I found myself actually looking forward to the next appointment because I want my teeth healthy. My husband is also impressed with them and has decided to switch dentists. Thank you for your genuine care! It means more than you know.

The staff & Dr Barker are very nice & always professional. The office is very nice as well with a homey atmosphere. It makes having to go to the dentist a much better experience! I highly recommend this practice!

I just moved to jax and have been very nervous about finding a good dentist. After reading the amazing reviews I decided to try Jacksonville Complete Dentistry out. I was not disappointed. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and my hygienist did an amazing job. She talked me through everything and actually wanted to understand me. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and would recommend them to EVERYONE!!

Dr. Rose and all the hygienists are very nice, and the practice is clean (although overdecorated in a very dated style). Unfortunately, their billing and reception are not good. I went for a cleaning and exam today, and when I checked out I was told I had a $247 balance from my previous visit because they no longer accept my insurance. They didn't tell me this before my last appointment or at this appointment when I arrived, and they never sent me a bill. They previously sent me a bill for a visit several months ago and stated they were out of network, but when I inquired about it they just said they "fixed" it. Since then, my husband and I both have gone for cleanings and exams and asked if there were any billing or insurance issues and we were told no...until today. I even asked the receptionist if she knew I had an insurance they didn't accept when she checked me in, and she said yes, but they sent letters (which I never got) to patients and she assumed I knew. They're good but not enough for me to not use the insurance I have and pay out of pocket. BEWARE!!!!

They are conveniently located just off of Gate Parkway, near Ikea. I always enjoy coming to see the staff of Jacksonville Complete Dentistry. They are knowledgeable, friendly and do great work. If I ever have a question or problem, they are quick to respond. I highly recommend them.

It’s hard finding a good, trustworthy dentist, but after I met Dr Barker, that changed. He is all about building a relationship and explaining the process of any dental work before trying to schedule the next appointment. The office is professional and overall , a great experience.

I once read, "Customer Service is not a department; it’s an attitude." I don't know who wrote that quote, but I am willing to guess that person was a patient of Jacksonville Complete Dentistry. If you are afraid of going to the dentist or needles, JCD is the place to go for your dental needs. It's like going to your grandpa or favorite uncle for care. Thank-you, Dr. Barker and staff, for ALWAYS making me feel at home and not at a dentist office.

Annette did a fantastic job with my whitening process. She showed so much kindness and care to make me feel comfortable when I was a bit nervous about it. She explained what to expect very clearly and patiently and checked in on me throughout the process to make sure I felt good and had as little discomfort as possible. The whole office is very nice, super clean and professional. Highly recommend!

Overall, fantastic experience...even during these crazy Covid times. I specifically searched for a reputable Prosthodontist in Jacksonville after I recently moved to the area. There wasn't much to choose from, but I KNOW I made the right choice. All of the staff I met were very friendly, personable, and accommodating. As a new patient, I was in and out pretty quickly with x-rays, pictures, and exam by Dr. Barker. Already looking forward to my next cleaning...some dentist offices can be a pain...this one is by far one of the better ones!!! I definitely recommend! Edit- 2 years later and still always a great experience. Found out my employer’s dental insurance isn’t covered here after recent letter to me mailed by the dentist. However, still no co-pay after my recent cleaning this week and seems my hygienist changed at some point, but no complaints 👌

Dr barker and his office staff were helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. I have been to a few dentist regarding my issues with my teeth and Dr Barker was the only one to have a reasonable plan of what could be done.

I had 2 teeth pulled in one visit. The Dental assistant hooked me up to oxygen then nitrous-oxide for the proceedure. After a few needles I was numb and Dr. Barker proceeded with the removal. One tooth was stubborn but it came out. I couldn't tell if the nitrous worked or if I was relaxed just from laying in the chair. Dr. Barker finished about 5;30 pm but my prescriptions couldn't be filled til 8;30 pm. Needless to say the numbing effect had worn off and the pain was getting rough. However by 10;00 pm all was good and the next day I had no pain. Great job Doc...
