My experience at this office left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about billing transparency and communication. During my first of two cleaning appointments, I was told I owed $151 for cleaning on one side. After questioning the charge, the amount was reduced to $118 for both sides. This sudden change created confusion and made me question the accuracy of the billing. I was also told ahead of time that my cleaning would be split into two visits because numbing would be required. However, once seated for treatment, I was asked whether I wanted numbing, which contradicted what had previously been explained. Due to these inconsistencies and lack of clarity, I chose to cancel the appointment. I believe patients deserve clear communication, consistent treatment planning, and accurate billing from the start.

I loved this dentist office for years when I saw Dr. Barker. The hygienist Jessica is great - I have only good things to say about her. However, I saw new dentists my last few visits. At my last visit, I was told I needed 4 fillings at once after never needing any. I had 2 of them done, but then the office stopped accepting my insurance. I went to a new dentist in-network to get a new treatment plan for the other 2 teeth. The new dentist stated I didn’t need any fillings and the 2 that Jacksonville Complete Dentistry had done were so surface level it was more like a sealant and one was a sealant with stain remaining underneath. So caution - get a second opinion if you go here and suddenly need a lot of work.

I've always had great experiences here at Jax Complete Dentistry. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Chery went out of her way to ask about the essential oil I noticed at the entrance just because I was curious, such a small detail, but it really showed how thoughtful and attentive the staff are. Jayla was amazing at setting clear expectations from the start. As she walked me to the exam room, she explained the plan for the day, and at every step she let me know what was coming next, which gave me real peace of mind and made the whole visit stress-free. And Dr. Simon is hands down the friendliest, nicest dentist I’ve ever met. He somehow makes it feel less like a dental appointment and more like you’re just hanging out with a group of friends who happen to be taking great care of your teeth. Professional, kind, and genuinely fun to talk to. If you’re looking for a dental office that feels warm, welcoming, and human, this is it. I scheduled a cleaning over the phone, but when I came in, I was given an exam. I was told afterwards that a cleaning can only be administered after the exam, but they didn't have an actual cleaning appointment scheduled for me once the exam was over, even though that's what I came in to get. After I paid, Gabriela was incredibly rude when I asked her to email me the results of my exam, and had me leave before sending everything so that she could attend to another patient. If you need documents sent over, ask for them before you pay. I don't recommend coming here as this office doesn't communicate its requirements properly to new patients.

Because of past horrific dental experiences, I was absolutely petrified to have any dental work done. Dr. Sam was incredibly understanding, patient, and took extra steps to ensure I felt safe, heard, and comfortable throughout the entire process. I was also extremely impressed by his communication with his support staff and how seamlessly they worked together as a team—it was clear that mutual respect and care for the patient are top priorities in this practice. Dr. Sam exemplifies what a compassionate, ethical, and highly skilled dentist should be. I cannot recommend him and Jacksonville Complete Dentistry enough to anyone, especially those who struggle with dental anxiety.

Today was the first day I met Dr. Sam at Complete Dental. He was very professional and patient with me as a senior. He explained everything in language I could understand! Lol I was impressed with how thorough he was with his initial examination of my lips, my gums, my teeth, my neck, my throat. All of my records were transferred, and the staff assured me they had everything; they as well were professional, kind, and gracious as I was established as a new patient.

Please check your insurance to make sure you are still in network. I’ve been a patient for years and used my benefits earlier this year with no issues. Showed up for my appointment recently and was told my insurance is now out of network and had to make a payment I wasn’t expecting.

Scam artists! Went in for my annual cleaning that should covered by insurance at 100%. They say now I owe them money and when I asked then about it, Daniella from “billing” said they over charge the insurance companies to see what they can get them to pay and then pick and choose what amount left over they decide to write off and what they want to bill the customer.
