Overall experience was pleasant. I had a new patient appointment. The dentist seemed very knowledgeable. Front desk staff were very kind. They did lose track of my check in and I got called back 40 minutes past my arrival time. However, they were very apologetic and the team was efficient once getting me back for X-rays as they knew I needed to leave at certain time for work. I will continue services but maybe something I will be mindful of future visits. Mistakes happen and I understand that.<br><br>Update: 10/1/2026<br>Had the opportunity to come back for my cleaning and it was amazing!! Once again front desk staff are exceptional, kind and helpful answering questions. My hygienist Ravon is an absolute baddie when it comes to teeth and gum health. She knows her stuff and we scheduled my next cleaning with her before I left. She made me feel brand new with my fresh teeth and chatting with her along the way made the experience better.

When you go to any Dentist there is always some sort of anxiety. Especially when growing up young, I went to only one, that Dentist has since passed, and I was 10 on the onset. I’m 70 now and have had a lot of dental work and Dentist’s in my life…..so far. The people who are the wage makers for the Dental profession are - number 1 -the front office women and men whom answer the phones and answer questions and make you feel “this is it - the one”! The second is the dental hygienists who are the money making professionals that keeps any dentist business grow and stay with word of mouth. (No pun intended). No search engine here on websites. Without those two elements of front office customer service and the dental hygienists, in particular Peyton, (a Hygentist) I probably would have found another group of Dentists. I have been coming to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry firm for 3-5 years or more. Every 6 months. . Dr Montoya is amazing with a molar of mine that had cracked with a root canal and it broke. He probably jokes to say smelly job and it was and the implant is perfect. My point is….Keep your teeth clean, see Peyton and the rest is history with extremely professional Dentists. Thank you team.

After my initial concerns, this office has made a complete turnaround and it absolutely did not go unnoticed. What stands out the most is that they actually listen. That level of accountability and care is rare, and it truly made a difference in my experience. Also, shoutout to Daniella Vazquez she is AMAZING when it comes to handling my financial account. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly the best at what she does. If you go, definitely ask for her! And I have to recognize the dental assistants as well because without them, none of this runs smoothly. They are the ones who really set the tone when you’re brought back. Even when those chairs are a little cold, they make sure you feel warm and comfortable offering blankets, pillows, and just overall care that makes a difference. That level of attention does not go unnoticed. The dentists and hygienists are ALL so awesome. Professional, kind, and genuinely caring. They don’t just treat you like a patient they treat you like a person. If you’re nervous or anxious, they will literally comfort you… yes, even hold your hand while explaining what’s going on and what needs to be corrected. They’re also extremely professional and prepared knowing they’re trained and ready for anything (even in those “I might faint” moments 😅) gives an extra layer of reassurance. The hygienists are just as incredible such a great group of young women who make the experience smooth and enjoyable. I love that they let you relax and watch TV during your visit (shoutout to my Young Sheldon episodes 😂). Overall, I truly appreciate the professionalism, warmth, accountability, and growth this office has shown. I recommend them not because they claim to be perfect, but because they are willing to improve, care, and show up better for their patients and that speaks volumes.

I would like to thank Dr. Asturia and his Dental assistant Clarissa for making my dental appointment one of the best I've had. I had been having excruciating tooth aches and was referred to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry for an exam. My original appointment was a week out. I called and explained the severity of my pain to the front desk. They were able to get me in the same day. That alone was my first good start with the Dentistry. Once I got to the office, my pain was unbearable. The front desk staff was very friendly and the office was very nicely kept. I was seen immediately. Dr. Asturia was the best! After a complete exam and viewing of my xray, he was able to find the Root cause of my pain. No pun intended. He and Clarissa worked together, and helped get my pain under control. I had strong positive energy from them. No one likes going to the dentist, but, if you must go, I strongly recommend going to Jacksonville Complete Dentistry.

I had an urgent dental issue when a surface filling on my canine tooth fell out and left a razor-sharp edge. I walked into this dentist’s office without an appointment and they saw me right away. They did an exam and x-ray to check things out and were even able to do an emergency filling on the spot. I was in and out in about an hour and a half, start to finish. The staff was friendly, efficient, and really understood the urgency of the problem. Best dental service I’ve ever had. Highly recommend to anyone!

She is phenomenal and I can’t brag enough about her outstanding customer service skills. More over I would like to complement the front desk team as they had a great sense of humor and truly made me feel welcomed. 12/2023 I have been going to this practice now for over four years and I have to say I have truly found a dental practice home. The staff has always been very supportive, friendly, with a strong attention to detail. They have always made me feel like I was patient even though they have so many. The new young lady at the reception desk, I wished I could remember her name, she just started last week moving here from Indiana was fantastic! Her high level of customer centered approach demonstrates they hired the right person for that role. The hygienist, again I apologize for not knowing her name, but was new for me. Melanie has moved out of state and I do miss her however this new hygienist was very good! She explain things to me In a thorough consistent manner that I was able to understand, reviewed my treatment plan in great detail and she took her time to ensure that each tooth had the attention is needed. Dr. Baker, what more can I say about a man who truly knows his patients. I am most impressed with him and his attention to detail and his patient centered approach.

I felt my health was a priority while I was at the office. Patients are treated with care and respect. I already have my appointment to return in 6 months! UPDATE: A year later and I am happy to say I have my husband also going to Dr. Rose Johnson and the rest of the crew at JCD. We both had bad experiences at another practice in town and are now "regulars" with JCD--can't say enough good things about this practice!!! As a veteran, it’s often hard to feel truly seen or understood when it comes to healthcare, but this dental office went above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with kindness and respect. Dr. Montoya took the time to listen to my concerns, explaining everything in detail and ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. The staff was equally fantastic — from the front desk to the dental hygienists, everyone made me feel valued and cared for. They were patient, professional, and genuinely compassionate, which made a huge difference. It’s rare to find a practice that not only excels in dental care but also takes the time to make you feel like more than just another patient. Today specifically I was struggling with my anxiety and was terrified to go in. Then as soon as I walked in the wonderful receptionist told me she had already let Dr.Montoya and Carley know I was here, without even saying anything!! Not even 3 minutes later Carley walks out to take me back and her smile just warmed my heart. I cannot say enough how much they go above and beyond especially on the hard days. I’m grateful to have found such an amazing team, and I would recommend this office to anyone, especially fellow veterans who are looking for a dentist who truly understands and cares about their patients.
